I have never been able to get this poem in image form on a web page, the way I want it. This draft is as close as it will get.
The poem is inspired by the small talk question: “what do you find most initially attractive in a woman.” and I never had an answer.
Neither smile, nor glance, nor hips
neither touch, nor gesture, nor whisper
can give a description fully,
other then they are hers
No mathematics can summate,
no science can find the root of effect
It is only SHE in the living instant
And the exhilaration she generates within me.
Youth in wane
Picking up the petals that still remain
From a long Time Ago
You and me
We’re once so free
Spring time flowered so Vividly
a long time ago
wind and rain
scattering the petals a cross the land
a long time ago.
The Landscapes never stay the Same
But were binding up the pedals that still remain
hands embraced in a daisy chain
From a life time ago.
