I really like this, particularly the first stanza. There is just smthn about tears and society’s need to pretend as though they never happen. Keep the poems… gushing.

I grew up like most males believing that crying was an act of showing weakness.
How strange it is deny a healthy act of our bodies, so we may lament, grieve,etc.
