“Nobody really knows what they are doing” – Conan O`Brien
to James Lipton explaining the advice he gives to new interns on producing his show
Nobody really knows,
what they are doing.
Stitch the winter quilt
pastiche hide and thread,
The summer fades intentions
and will carpet our hut’s hard ground.
Nobody really knows,
what they are doing.
The gamely prey runs
from the hungry apex’s track,
Quicker step, quicker wit, better luck
decides who survives the night.
Everyone today says,
they know what they’re doing.
Congratulate ourselves
for the high rise cities we draft and build,
Earth shakes and levies break
We drowned in our cities,
and suffocate under the weight
… of beastly uncertainty.
revised draft… previously posted poem.
Beautiful. Pure. Thoughtful. Honest. Love. Zen.

I gotten better at keeping things simple in the last decade, Focus was not not a strong point of mine when I was younger. Partly do to my own arrogance in wanting to know everything!
