Seasonal Collision

Something old, Something new
Anesthesia of Winter Blues
Springs Intention have force through.

Fertile thunderstorms howl and boom
Sleepy thorns are now in bloom

Pasts slumbering secrets left untold
A budding  consciousness unfolds
pedals of Spring after the  cold

Something old, Something new
A life spent in slumbering review
Is pushing forward with flowering A-new.

  1. I really liked this one.
It makes me jealous because I’d give anything to write something like that…

  2. This is such a lovely piece! The beauty of the dark in being able to see the light?

    • sure. I was thinking of those sleepy rutts in life… and being awoken by new positive circumstances.
and then I ripped off T.S. Elliot, (those season metaphors) which I do a lot. :)
      Thanks for your comment.
