Moon Beam

moon-beam-poem1

Moon Beam
You lighten up the road
As the night pedals unfold

like an incandescent rose
All the crease seem to show
the rough edges, they glow
So that I may stay on the road

Moon Beam
you cradle the night
and the road that I drive..
and we all may survive
there is need for you to hide
If the clouds come out tonight.

moon-beam-moonMoon Beam
where did you go
The clouds come and hang low
although you don’t know
I still see your glow
through the haze it flows
Like the blush of a rose
your light glisten on the road
you still lighten the load.
